Hi All,

Last week was great and the weather is starting to make a move toward the better. Monday at the PARK was an experience. STEVE BLUSH had LOURDS with T.J. JORDAN, unplugged, then BRUCIFER with a nite of BITCH-unplugged. We'll be seeing more of that soon.

Thursday nite at the 169 BAR the 1 year anniversary continued with some surprise guests. There was a cancellation due to a medical emergency, but JOHNNY LAW from BANANA FISH ZERO stepped up and did a short set to fill the space. While he was playing, COURTNEY from PRETTY SUICIDE showed up with LARRY. followed by JEA and SARAH from THE DRIVE. After a few drinks COURTNEY & LARRY got up for a song. A little later they got up with JOHNNY LAW for a few more impromptu songs, which JOHNNY followed with a little rap number he made up that had people rolling on the floor. It was hilarious. Then RACHEL from THE DRIVE arrived and joined by JEA they did a few songs. I even let her sister get up and do a number. Next thing you know it was 3:30AM. WOW, what a night! Can't wait till this week.

On Friday I went to check out the BELT to see LOURDS with her band, along with the NEW YORK NO-STARS. They were followed by a LED ZEPPELIN tribute, a la BITCH (BRUCE & the band w/ MILITIA, PURPLE PAM, CRAZY PAM, KIKI, and others) kicking out the tunes.

A little sad note, after this month there will be no more BLUE TUESDAYS at MICKY's BLUE ROOM. They didn't even give it a chance to grow (1 and a half weeks). That's OK, we will move on.
