Hi All,

This is a short notification about the upcoming MERMAID PARADE on JUNE 21, 2003.

We have a 48 foot truck that will have BANANA FISH ZERO performing on it all day.

We also have a cherry-red, Volkswagon BEETLE streeeeetch convertible, that will be adorned with at least 6 (and probably many more) of the hottest, friskiest, most beautiful MERMAIDS to ever grace the parade(attached are just 2 of them).

I am currently looking for SPONSORS who would want to help out and get some well placed ads that would be viewed by over 500,000 people live and countless others over TV and the print media(that's last year's crowd estimate of the parade by the NYPD). I'm also looking for VOLUNTEERS to help out with all sorts of things, like refreshments, decorative backdrops, make-up and costume help, etc.... Again, please contact me ASAP at: mrfwood@yahoo.com and let me know.

In the meantime, I will be MC'ing a show this Thursday, May 29 at the FREAK SHOW near the Boardwalk in CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn.

It will be featuring:

BANANA FISH ZERO (the band for the MERMAID PARADE),

THE DRIVE (one the mermaids is in this band - her photo is the top one of the 2 that are attached) and ,

from Japan, PEELANDER-Z.

It starts at 7:30pm .

They sell snacks and refreshments (beer, etc.) and there will be performances by some of the sideshow freaks. Oh Yea, I will be doing the part of the Barker (you know, "Step right up, see the the amazing Blockhead as he hammers nails into his head...etc., etc".). This is going to be one WILD nite ! Don't miss it !
