Starting on WEDNESDAY, October 29, LUCKY STIFF will be holding their weekly show at the PUSSYCAT LOUNGE. This will be their HALLOWEEN Show, so it should be wilder than usual. Usual being a mixture of the CONEY ISLAND SIDESHOWS BY THE SEASHORE, with a little bit of the BINDLESTIFF FAMILY CIRCUS, then add a touch of classic BURLESQUE, throw in a bit of an audience participation contest for prizes and anything can happen. It usually does! What with the recent write-ups in TIME-OUT NEW YORK and the VILLAGE VOICE, this has become one of the hottest tickets in town. Just to make it a little more fun I'm gonna add a little bit of rock'n'roll in the form of PRETTY SUICIDE. So get your HALLOWEEN started early.

On Thursday, I have 3 shows going. One is the CD RELEASE party at VIRGIN RECORDS store on 14 St with 6 of the bands on STEVE BLUSH's new CD NEW YORK CITY ROCK N ROLL on RADICAL RECORDS. There will be performances and a Q & A session.

Friday is HALLOWEEN and that means more insanity. But hey, why not, it's on a Friday! The PUSSYCAT LOUNGE & FRANK WOOD presents will have a float in the GREENWICH VILLAGE HALLOWEEN Parade followed by a WILD FETISH Costume party.

This Saturday is the first Saturday of the month and that means it's time for HOOTERNANNY, rockabilly nite at the PUSSYCAT LOUNGE. The last one was outrageous and will be hard to top, but this time we will have more singers involved in the HOOTERNANNY part and they will be backed up by THE UNPRONOUNCEABLE.

Finally Sunday will roll around and we'll be winding down at OTTO's with a new band in residence for the month of November: MAN IN GRAY
Then, I recommend resting up, because starting on Friday, November 7 begins: THE 10 DAYS OF WOOD, a SCORPION BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, to help me and a few other scorpions celebrate our birthdays. There will be 10 shows in 10 days with over 65 bands (among them - BANANA FISH ZERO, PORN ROCK, SEX SLAVES, QUEEN V, THE DRIVE, TEMPTRESS and many, many more with a lot of surprises thrown in - just check the website) from 3 different continents, playing at some of NYC's best clubs (PUSSYCAT LOUNGE, OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD, MEOW MIX, the C-NOTE, DON HILL's and CONTINENTAL).
