Hi ALL,

More snow, so what? It's winter!

This is NEW YORK CITY! Did you think you were in FLORIDA?

Be a real New Yorker. Bundle up and go out and enjoy. Central and Prospect parks are great this time of year. Snowball fights, sleigh riding, ice skating, DRINKING and PARTYING! And that's during the day.

This weekend I have 4 shows to help you get over the winter. For those of you who have been to the PUSSYCAT lately, you know it's almost like a sauna in there, so I have 2 shows there.

There's also a killer show at HOGS & HEIFERS UPTOWN celebrating SHARON GUIDINE's birthday. So come up and help her enjoy another birthday. BANANA FISH ZERO and FELICIA COLLINS & THE LIFE ( she's the guitar player who makes PAUL SCHAEFER look good on the DAVID LETTERMAN SHOW) along with 4 other bands will help with the festivities.

Then on Sunday, we start a new month, FEBRUARY, and that means we have a new band in residence at OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD - MAD JUANA! As an extra bonus - IT's LEAP YEAR! That means there will be five MAD JUANA shows!

So don't let the weather get you down. I mean, DAMN, we got past that flu stuff, so what's a little snow and cold?

If you've been here in the past few weeks, you would have caught, SYLVAIN SYLVAIN (NY DOLLS), the PUBLIC OFFENDERS, JONESY (F.P.TOZ) doing the whole first side of the first PINK FLOYD album and much, much more. So come on out and see some of NYC's best musicians hanging out and playing whatever moves them at the moment. Again, with PAM the METAL QUEEN serving drinks 'til closing it's hard to go home sober.

This is the time of year that makes or breaks a lot of clubs. Some owners can't afford to stick it out 'til the weather gets better. So I recommend, GO OUT and support your favorite clubs and bands, or there may not be enough good clubs around when Spring arrives.

DON't FORGET on FEBRUARY 14 it's VALENTINE's DAY and that means it's time foe the 11th Annual GOD"S LOVE WE DELIVER Benefit. This charity delivers hot food to homebound AIDS patients. This year's show will be at the PUSSYCAT LOUNGE. Along with my partner LISA LUSWIG, (BLACK FLAMINGO) and MARIA MILITO from Q104, we're putting together a DYNAMITE show. So far we have:

BANANA FISH ZERO, BOBBY STEELE (MISFITS, UNDEAD), BOMBSHELL, BLACK FLAMINGO, STARK, The HEATHER LARKIN BAND, THE NERVE!, AETHOS and at least 4 more bands. Along with my little raffle of about one hundred different prizes ranging from dinners for two to limo rides, to designer clothes, fancy exotic lingerie, artwork, cd's and who knows what else I'll come up with. So grab your special someone, (or come find one) and let's help out those who really need it. More info will be forthcoming.
