Hi All,

For those of you who missed Sunday's show at OTTO's, Mr. Lund has put up some pictures taken by RYOTA of LENNY KAYE, MAD JUANA and the LOVE PIRATES in the photo gallery. Lenny was FANTASTIC! Everyone who was there was treated to a new version of GLORIA, circa 2004. He had so much fun, he said he'd like to do it again. I can't wait. MAD JUANA had so much fun as the band-in-residence, they don't want to wait another year to do it again. So for the month of April, the band-in-residence for NYC UNPLUGGED - the core of NYC's best bands will be MAD JUANA, every Sunday at 10pm at OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD. There will be some special surprise guests, as always.

The MIGHTY AFRODITE also weighs in on this year's GOD'S LOVE WE DELIVER benefit held on Valentine's Day at THE PUSSYCAT LOUNGE. Go to her archives on the news page. Also in the photo gallery there is a new picture of the video and security team of DESTINY SERVICES, Ltd. - RYOTA & HELLVIS.

This weekend is going to be a special one at the PUSSYCAT LOUNGE. On Friday, there will be a DRUMMER'S NITE. FRANK (bass) and BOB (guitar) from LEWD BUDDHA will be joined by CHUCK (guitar) from another band that they used to be in together, and they will be backing up 7 or more drummers from some of NYC's best bands, who will be performing 2 of their favorite songs each. You just know this isn't going to run on time. But it should be fun.

On Saturday, HOOTERNANNY returns to the PUSSYCAT LOUNGE, but with a twist. The UNPRONOUNCEABLE will not be backing up the ladies, due to the fact that CHIP BEEFALO's wife just had a brand new baby boy. Born on 3/4/04 and weighing in at a healthy 9lbs. 8ozs. Mother and child are all doing fine, so is dad for that matter.

To replace the boys I came up with an interesting idea. We start with the drummer from THE SLAGS - MARY KATHERINE. Combine her with the bass of STARK - LANI FORD. Then top it off with the leader of THE SHE WOLVES - DONNA LUPIE, and you have: THE WOOD NYMPHS (they made up the name, not me). Add some new singers, whom you'll recognize, and it will definitely be a hoot.

On Sunday, MACKIN moves in as the band-in-residence for WIND DOWN SUNDAY at OTTO's. To be followed on Monday with another nite at MEOW MIX.
