Sept. 30, 2004

Hi ALL,

The past few weeks proved very interesting. There were not one, but 2 performances of JOHN LAW, T.J. JORDAN and JONESY playing some BANANA FISH ZERO, WOUNDED and F.P.TOZ songs together. First at GRAND CENTRAL BAR then at OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD. These were both great parts of all around fun evenings. Try not to miss them the next time it happens.
There was STEVE PANG's birthday party at OTTO's with SAMI YAFFA DJ'ing and a special surprise birthday set of BANANA FISH ZERO for the birthday boy (and everyone else who was there.)

Today one of the greatest radio DJ's of all time passed away, SCOTT MUNI. SCOTT was an innovative pioneer who loved music and sharing it with everyone he could. He will be missed.

OH, oh! It's time for the annual CMJ carpetbagger rip-off fest. They come into town and charge high prices and try to take over every venue they can. Not if I can help it. I'll be counter-programming it to best of my ability.

Coming up in the next few weeks will be the return of NELSHA to tend bar at OTTO's for the start of every Sunday nite. Don't worry, PAM the METAL QUEEN will still be there after 9 PM. TOMMY FRENZY with most of the original TUFF DARTS will be returning to the PUSSYCAT LOUNGE. The GRAY vs. BLUE III with me hosting one of the nites at THE HOOK in Brooklyn. F.P.TOZ will be bringing in OTTOBER as the band-in-residence at OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD every Sun. At GRAND CENTRAL, BITTERWEED will be the band-in-residence for OCTOBER. Then on Oct. 12 the return of ACESEX (ACoustic EStrogen EXtravaganza) at the C-NOTE with T.J. JORDAN and RON RESIGNO backing up the ladies.
