HI ALL!

Hope you all had a great Christmas weekend.

On Christmas Eve JONESY (F.P.TOZ), KENN ROWELL & JOSEPHINE (BAGHDADDIOS), ALAN RAND (photographer/artist), DYLAN SKRILOFF (journalist/ROCKLAND JOURNAL NEWS) and myself went out with 646 blankets collected at the many BLANKFEST VIII shows this year. We went out and distributed over 500 that night alone to the homeless that we found on the streets of NYC and in various shelters around the city. After about 8 hours we dropped off the rest at the HOMELESS MISSION on the Bowery. You can read the article in the Rockland Journal News and see a picture of me and JONESY on the home page of my this site.

Now to wrap up another year and prepare for a new one.

I would like to THANK everyone involved in all the shows we did this year (over 220) and all the bands (sorry I lost count), all the club owners and promoters and MOST IMPORTANT - ALL OF THE FANS who come out to the shows and support the local scene. If not for the fans, we would all end up listening to the crap on the radio that INFINITY and their like attempt to pass off as real rock'n'roll. It's the people that go to the clubs that make this scene happen.

PLEASE, DON'T STOP SUPPORTING THE LOCAL MUSIC SCENE! I don't care if it's one of my shows or STEVE BLUSH's, or TRIGGER's or KIPP's or any of the other local promoters who try to give you what you want - REAL ROCK'n'ROLL - LIVE!

So let's knock out this year and get ready for next.
