Hi All,

Now that Thanksgiving is out of the way, it's time for some serious partying.

This past Sun. at OTTO's was an interestingly wild nite. We had 2 cancellations and it looked like it was gonna be a terrible nite, but I was not to be forsaken. After a few calls, things went along fine. FRANKIE and HIS FINGERS showed up and wowed everyone! Their drummer SAMMI, had everyone mesmorized. THOMMY PRICE (Joan Jett's drummer) couldn't take his eyes off her hands. When you get a chance come and check her out. (You'll have the opportunity this Thurs., 12/1 at GRAND CENTRAL BAR, 10pm. Then EVEN PETE, from L.A., was in town so they came over and did 2 sets. During the second one, SAMI YAFFA (bass), KARMEN GUY (vocals) and TONY MANN (percussion) (all from MAD JUANA) joined them for a wild jam. They'll be back Sun. 12/4 for their regularly scheduled show. Before their second set, JOHN LAW (THE X's, BFZ) showed up for a few quick songs, and KAREN CURIOUS (NEW PROFESSIONALS) jumped up and tested some new songs out, along with a couple of old favorites. Then the BAGHDADDIOS finished us off with an unplugged set. That's the beauty of OTTO's, you never know what may happen there because the vibe is always right for music.

This Sun., 12/4 we have the traditional Greek music of MAGGES, along with EVEN PETE, the URBAN CINCOPATH BAND, the LIVING PROOF BAND and who knows what else I'll pull out of my hat. The next two Suns. (12/11,18) will also be pretty interesting. The 12/11 show is KAREN CURIOUS' birthday show and on 12/18 OTTO's Christmas party. In years past we've had MAD JUANA, LOVE PIRATES and special surprise appearances by SYLVAIN SYLVAIN (NY DOLLS) and LENNY KAYE (PATTI SMITH GROUP). You won't want to miss this one.

This Thurs. at GRAND CENTRAL BAR in Williamsburg you'll have the chance to check out one of the best drummers around in SAMMI with her band FRANKIE & HIS FINGERS. Also on Thurs. we'll have LIKE SO, CHANTILLY WARWYCK and MATTISON. On Sat. at GRAND CENTRAL BAR, JOE BENDIK will be there along wiyh CONJUGAL VISITS, PROGRESSIVE DEMENTIA, THE INKLINGS and TEDDY YOUNG & THE ACES.

On Sun. before going to OTTO's, I'll be at DON HILL's for the 20th Anniversary of one of NYC's best bands - SEA MONSTER. If you like GREAT, booty shaking, heartthumping REAL ROCK'n'ROLL you don't want to miss this. I won't.

I'm working a real job now (7:30am-2:30pm) , but that doesn't stop me from still going out and putting on the best bands around.

Attention EAST COAST, FUTURE 86 is headed for Florida with a few stops along the way and back. Check out my calendar page for details.
