Hi All,

For those who didn't make it to OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD this past Sunday, you missed a rollicking good time celebrating GASS WILDE's birthday. But don't worry, he'll have another one next year. As for this Sunday coming up, we have a really HOT show scheduled. Staring with CATSPAW and then for some stars of the future: THE HOT ROSES! This band consists of LULU (6 years old) & ZELDA (18 months old) ADAMS accompanied by their father on guitar - JOHN LAW (THE X's, BFZ).

They will be followed by FRANKIE & HIS FINGERS. This band has one of, if not the best, drummer in the city today. Come check her out. You read right. I said her. Then more estrogen follows as the house band for January takes over - BETTIE AFTER MIDNIGHT, followed by SELF HUMAN. Then we crank it up with NYC UNPLUGGED - the core of NYC's best bands. Leading off at 11PM will be the traditional Greek music of MAGGES.

JOHN LAW will then return for an unplugged set, and he'll be followed by LENNY KAYE (PATTI SMITH GROUP) and then it will be BLONDE and BLUE. I have a feeling that this week's "SOFA KING" WILDE JAM (which follows NYC UNPLUGGED) is going to be a special one. Those people who were at the OTTO's Christmas party know what I'm talking about.

Two sad notes here. First off HONOR AMONG THIEVES had to cancel their second tour of the east coast because of a personnel problem.

Second, you may have noticed that I didn't mention GRAND CENTRAL BAR this week. Well that's because both parties involved (the bar & Myself) have come to a mutual and amiable parting of ways. I have been a little busy of late, so in an effort to have better shows, we are concentrating on fewer shows. I will still be going to the GRAND CENTRAL BAR for drinks because, after all, they are really inexpensive and very close to my house.

That's all for now and remember - this SUNDAY is going to be an outrageous show at OTTO's. See ya there.

Take care,

WOOD
