Hi All,

Another 3 day weekend has come and gone and that means another long nite at OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD on Sunday.

MAVEN was a last minute replacement for MORTICIANS TRAUVERE and they were an excellent surprise. CATSPAW did their rock-a-billy thing and DOWNSHALLOW showed they were anything but.

SAMMI kept pounding away with FRANKIE & HIS FINGERS, while the RUSSELL BOOKER EXPERIENCE gave us one.

The first ever SMACK DARTS - unplugged show was amazing and the boys had so much fun we'll probably do it again. BLONDE & BLUE were their usual moving selves. Then the "SOFA KING" WILDE JAM led by KENN ROWELL of the BAGHDADDIOS finished off the nite. Ken was joined by PHIL McCAUGH (BAGDADDIOS, F.P.TOZ) and JOHN from GIRL TO GORILLA (a STEVE PANG project) and finally NICOLETTE joined in for the final song. She's in a different STEVE PANG project that is in the embryo stages.

This week is a NEW BEGINNING. On friday February 24, we will be doing our first show at THE WRECK ROOM (940 Flushing Ave.) in BUSHWICK, Brooklyn. The line-up is ALIEN CANOPY 9featuring members of KING NORRIS-Fred Norris' band), BITTERWEED (in what I hear may be one of their last shows ever), DRAG CITIZEN (revamped and kicking ass), DIRTY DICK (broken footed drummer and all) and to close out ACID RAYZ.

Come on down and enjoy NO COVER charge and cheap drinks along with 2 really nice pool tables in 3 different rooms. This place is gonna be hot. They are in the process of opening up a kitchen but that'll take a few more months. You could always go across the street and grab some food from the LIFE CAFE (same owners as the NYC location) and bring it in.

SUNDAY at OTTO's will have the AMERICAN GRAVEYARD DANCE. Then the double guitar blues rock attack of SWAMP MUD. Mark Berley will lead up to the final nite in the month long residency of FRANKIE & HIS FINGERS. Come on down and check out SAMMI who is quickly becoming an in demand drummer by every band who hears her. GASS WILDE will then lead the LOVE PIRATES in another raucus set to be followed by JOHN LAW singing some old BFZ favorites and some new, soon to be favorites from his new band - THE X's. BLONDE & BLUE will round out the evening unless some special guests appear. It seams like every week someone we know comes in and tries some new stuff out. You don't want to miss the best place for live music on Sundays - OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD.

By the way for those of you in the South Florida area the SEX SLAVES will be at THE POORHOUSE in FORT LAUDERDALE on Thurs., CHURCHILL's PUB in MIAMI on Friday, and Saturday they will be headlining the TROMA MOVIE STUDIO's film party at the BACK BOOTH in Orlando with some old friends THE OBSCENE. Check them out if you're in that neck of the woods.
