ALAN RAND Art Show Opening
BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, Passaic, NJ

If you haven't met him, you've probably seen his photos on your favorite NYC Underground Bands' websites!

He's ALAN RAND and he's an amazing Artist as well as Photographer and Videographer!

(Ed. Note: He has taken many photos at my shows and has shot video of my band many times!)

ALAN is a Graduate of PRATT INSTITUTE and his talents shine in what he does!

The clarity of the pics, the lighting, the angles, altogether make each subject appear to be live, right there!

The Show opened on October 2nd but the actual OPENING PARTY was on October 8th!

Located in Downtown Englewood, NJ was this restored Movie Theater and that was the BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER!

In their INTERMEZZO GALLERY is where ALAN's pics are hung!

Some of your favorites were there like ERIC 13 of the SEX SLAVES, JOHN LAW and TEXAS CLAMP from BANANA FISH ZERO, CYNDI DAWSON from THE CYNZ, MICHAEL IMPERIOLI from LA DOLCE VIDA and about 25 more! I think! I counted them but I forgot to write it all down! (That and all the unlimited wine!)

There was some live performances from ALAN's cousin REW STARR with DONALD from FLACK BLAMINGO, LANI FORD (STARK, TANIA & THE REVOLUTIONARIES), BILLY MAGEE, CYNDI DAWSON & HENRY SEIZ from THE CYNZ, DAVID KEYES (MINK DEVILLE) and MARILYN KEYES and JOEY KELLY (BUDDY LOVE) with PHIL GAMMAGE (REBEL FACTORY, CERTAIN GENERAL) and DAVID WHITE (STUMBLEBUNNY) and even CHUCK "RAVEN" HANCOCK joined in!

That's another thing! Did I mention this was somewhere in the middle of NEW JERSEY and there were about 100 people there at 5:00pm! 70% of which were from NYC! ALAN is well respected and loved by the artists he captures!

And he never stops with the camera! The pics included here, HE TOOK!

His pics will be up until October 30th!
